Once out of it's hold, I understood Breaking old Bondage, One day I would Traveled all the thousand miles in a glimpse of normal time Growing into bigger steps took many moons of dark and shine Following what seems to be the path laid down by nature's hand The forces felt upon ourselves just go to show not all is planned Speaking in the face of fear got me through another year Wanting more than just a taste Bliss was followed from the start Stepping in the fall apart As the tongue begins it's taste

Dweller 04:29
I'm letting go of the world below, I'm not weighted I'm breaking free to a truer me I'm not gated I've held on too long to a forever gone now that's ending Let my present and past bond in a cast and start mending A voice was heard it was preferred to dwell in it for so long It gave me strength for that i thank as now I sing my own song I've slowly grown into what I've known i could handle So let it be known a new king in the throne start the battle And if the changing of men should happen again as it's needed Well the war goes on until I'm beyond wants completed A voice was heard it was preferred to dwell in it for so long It gave me strength for that i thank as now I sing my own song I just needed time to grow Drift away from the world below........ A voice was heard it was preferred to dwell in it for so long It gave me strength for that i thank as now I sing my own song

As I call you out to play You will not come out today For you will no attempt the game and your colors are all the same You watch you right thought their eyes imprisons you and dulls your skies What they think is all you worry about As lights in you scurry and fade right out They fade right out, They fade right out They fade right out, they fade right out If I tried to twist and turn the taint right out of you All I ask is how much would it do? If you tried to twist and turn the taint right out of me All I ask is who else coupe add colourld I be? Who could I be, Who could be, Who could I be, Who Could I be Picture yourself back from the grave Giving of your what you never gave The second life chance of once in a while Well go ahead and breath your smiles Picture yourself don't we all? We add colour don't we all? We add color don't we all? We add color don't we all ?

Balance 07:00
Seeking balance in the sea of me change with tides of discovery parts of me will always float some I'll always have to tote tidbits sunk may one day rise surfacing the shock surprise What's been done and who I am will twist one way then back again Built upon a changing core Taking on all that's in store Seeking balance in all I say The haunt of something coming back one day Being careful with the words I choose Knowing mine aren't all our views One phrase said can last forever Oh our past can be so clever The bond of ones tongue to this world is what one has when it's unfulred what is said is not always true But what slips out is part of you Finding Balance ..... Seeking balance in all I do Learning to make each hour new Looking for lessons to be learned Finding remains in bridges burned Questioning giants for advice who have lived liked men instead of mice Walking on unsteady ground finding things not usually found and once there found they may fade away seeking, finding, losing balance Balance

A skyward glance was all it took I raise my head to have a look the blues and pinks of mother nature The essence of a sunset savior Your silhouette is a heaven dancing silhouette against the sky two of us casting shadows under this moonlight A turning point in this long day as the mystery works it's way the in betweens of lights moments end a darkness comes both foe and friend Your silhouette is a heaven dancing silhouette against the sky two of us casting shadows dane under this moonlight Darkened colors slowly burn as the world enjoys it turn to bring an end to this long day as the mystery works its way The hues of blues are darkening now as tonight I make my vow to grasp the tails and give a try just as the colors slip on by Your silhouette is a heaven dancing silhouette against the sky two of us casting shadows dance under moonlight Darkened colors slowly burn as the world enjoys it turn to bring an end to this long day as the mystery works its way and as it turns it carries on and brings with it a morning dawn sunset saviors are never the same missing one I'll hang my head in shame Missing one I hang my head in shame

Pearl Search 05:25
Wind blows in swirls curls, in life we all search for pearls, for pearls Once again, the empty feelings full so full We may bend we may break none of this is a mistake at all Trial and error through walls of terror to see unique is your need in the search for pearls Once again the empty feelings full so full We may bend we may break none of this is a mistake at all Beauty in the smallest of the pearls we find they are the lure to a purer piece of mind some moments linger and others slip through fingers in the search for pearls We may bend we may break none of this is a mistake at all

Looking back I heard a man was broken Fell off track and left behind an omen Should have stayed and delayed his exit But that time's gone she'd carry on deal with it Many tears and for three years she lived on (and on and on) She lived with the three had with he her loved one who's chain of events left consequence in this world to leave those loved and curse that beautiful girl, beautiful girl A smile so beaming Her children she's leaving She lacked the strength to go on In her world of hurt There's no pretending this ending this she's ascending There's no pretending this ending this she's ascending A smile so beaming Her children she's leaving She lacked the strength to go on In her world of hurt A slippery slope I'm preaching But it's a lesson worth teaching The children need someone to look up to in you But now they look up and see no father then They look up and see no mother now Oh the sister and her brothers They only have each other......

Narrow Path 04:35
Walk through the fire Gowned in barbed wire In sight is a spire On a bridge of desire Bathed in the wonder of blessings from the up above Tasting wine while out at sea, knowing that they can't see me As the way I really am at first to other's then to them The doubt of everybody else just fuels me and pulls me off the shelf Still in fire hands on rope blindly climbing can they cope at the top is an abyss cursed and blessed forever kissed Conscious can be best friend showing me there are no ends making puzzle pieces purr as of now there is no cure Time tick moon controls the tide soul in me it likes to hide visions growing hazy then glow as sun from tired days begins Fallen in the narrow path gliding through the lonesome wrath focus thin but as wide as can be behind the eyes of someone at sea Bathed in the wonder of blessings from the up above Tasting wine while out at sea, knowing that they can't see me As the way I really am, at first to other's then to them The doubt of everybody else just fuels me and pulls me off the shelf There is beauty in not knowing just where it is that we are going...

about

This album was a labor of love indeed. It started as a band project and as time went on the band fell apart leaving only Rosati. The bulk of the songs were played live at Western Washington University but with a different singer and a band named Isaac Purrs. The day before heading into the studio the singer departed leaving Joe and the other members to record the demo on their own. Studio time was a bit harder to come by in the 90's and the project sat for about 3 years until Joe reconnected with his childhood friend Mark Simmons in Tacoma, WA. The two of them added a few new songs, new lyrics and vocals by Rosati on the existing songs and Narrow Path was created. The album is a testament to doing what you can with what you have. One has to start somewhere, enjoy
